I liked Chris Whittys response when asked about it in the briefing yesterday. He said “ He’s wasn’t bothered by it, it was just a boy showing off, no biggie” And hoped the boy would become an upstanding citizen, maybe become someone like Sir Captain Tom.
Not on this level, but I still cringe at some of the things I said when I was a youngster. Amazing how you can forget where the remote is and why you go upstairs, but you can't forget humiliations from your teenage years.
And Chris Whitty has been remarkably gracious about a young man showing off, so fair play to him too.
Piers Corbyn arrested over vaccine 'Auschwitz leaflet' - BBC News ****ing idiot. Jeremy must be so proud.
So my wife and youngest have Covid! I've had first jab a week ago, so fingers crossed it won't hit me too hard. Bugger.
The perils of being keyworkers I guess. Obviously grateful for having the security jobwise, but kids being in school and nursery also adds to the risk. Pretty sure my 3 year old got it from preschool.
Side effects are rare with the Covid vaccination, but, interestingly, those with side effects such as aches and chills are more likely to have had Covid previously....evidence that resistance to Covid is prolonged in previously infected people.
