Does anybody else have a team that they just cannot watch no matter how good they are? I used to be like that with Barca and Chelsea and now it’s City. Their football bores me, and I know it shouldn’t, I just can’t watch it for some reason.
Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea I can’t watch them unless I’m watching in the hope of them taking a beating but never in admiration or because I ‘love football’ tripe Barca always bore me...I actually don’t like Tiki Taka...my ideal football is powerful football over gay arty football...pass, pass ****, meh. I like watching a team just roar forward like the best Madrid teams or United under Fergie from what I recall.
I hated watching Chelsea when it was just “Pass it to Hazard”, but I liked watching them when they had Drogba. I’m not sure why City bore me cos they’ve got some proper players, it’s probably just because it’s all a bit manufactured and fake.
When your team loses 9 nil...you can’t take piss out of anyone for any result till season ends that must be frustrating as ****
I like hefty tackles, chasing every single ball, long runs, heavy counter attacks. Passionate football played from the heart more than the head, I think the word everyones lookin for is clinical with Barca and City, just very poised and precise. Utd under Fergie could go to Juve and play like the best in the world, next week go to Barnet in the FA Cup and slug it out like the best of them.
Yeh the best teams mix it up City/Barca have a tiki taka blueprint and Arsenal try their best to be like them but these teams bore me in general. Considering all the things you like in football bro, you must be one frustrated Toon fan...can see why you’ve got some mental ****s in the ranks like Munse and Schlem
Being a Toon fan is utter ****, I regret following them when I was like 8 or whatever I was. But it's been way too long to pack it in. We saw glimpses of potential first half yesterday, I don't even ask we win the matches, just put 100% effort and passion into the performances and give me something to watch. Our best football in my lifetime was under Hughton and Pardew, we were a proper rough little side with really passionate players. I actually went from just liking football to thinking its amazing around the time Jose came to England, his Chelsea were ****ing class. I've never seen a manager and a squad just take over the country like that.
Illness bro. Anyways if we win this fukin league after all this **** bro none of you can ever look me straight in the face again. Top4 has to be the goal now tbh. Anything else is a miracle.
