Jolly good. If we can get the ball in the net it will be a big help.

How did we manage to bang 3 in by half time against Preston?

i guess when you are down the bottom you need a bit of luck we are getting it but its all bad at the moment.the good thing to come out of yesterdays game was the defence looked a lot more solid with winfield back and leon was outstanding won everything.basey looked composed on the ball and tackled well,i just hope we can get him for longer than a month.

Hope to see that striker brought in soon as our second half performance was good enough to have won the game comfortably I would have liked to have seen Ibe though

Well Orient have turned their form on its head since their signing. Can't be coincidence. Maybe there is hope if we can follow suit (provided every other team doesn't)

Yes mate we need to have a run of good luck the defence was a lot more solid with Big Dave and the Count
The "fight" in the crowd at the end after the non penalty was amussing

was it a penalty or not ,i dont really know,it looked like grants shirt was pulled by one of their defenders in the box and although it happened at our end of the pitch it happened so fast it was impossible to tell if it was or wasnt a penalty, thats what i mean about a change of luck if we were up the top of the league things like that go in your favour.basey was very unlucky not to score with his ferocious shot that somehow the defender cleared off the line and on any other day that clearance would have fell to one of our strikers but on this occasion it went straight into the goalkeepers hands.

It looked like a pen to me the defender had a handfull of Grants shirt on the blind side of the ref but the lino should have had a good view the ref waisted no time by blowing up for full time straight away <grr>

I agree Ron about Orient, they have made a quality signing in Lisbie. Proven at this level and although knocking on a bit I wouldn't mind Cureton at Wycombe. Unfortunately looking at our strike force none of them have much experience at this level and were not exactly prolific in the division below! If there is anything in the budget I would hope striker on loan would be a priority!
