RL causes less damage to the pitch, so I was told last week.

My wife's Cousin and family live in Cawdor by Nairn.
Very picturesque, but you wouldn't want it on your doorstep.

I think it's because Hull FC are a parasitical tick on the back of the host tiger- there's no way they would ever be able to play at a stadium like the KCOM on their own merits.

Most Hull FC fans are confused dim ****s who are the most fickle in this city when it comes to sticking by their team.

Worst of all are the shallow, low self-esteem individuals in the 50-65 age group.

Peak band-wagoning age in the Arthur Bunting reich., now reaching matured Tubby Lardhood.

There is s special place in hell reserved for these worthless ****s

It doesn't cause any more damage. Years ago it would have with with contested scrums etc. Now there is none of those and rugby league players wear boots with shortvstuds unlike the long studs of years ago. Clubs like Swansea and Bristol are sharing pitches with union teams who are playing at the same time through the bad weather with contested scrums, loose mauls and are not suffering from a pitch in as bad a state as ours. It could be drainage problems. Leeds are re-laying their pitch and they don't share it with a rugby team.
The shorter gap last year won't have helped but there is something not right with the pitch or the care of it.

Of course. Imagine being daft enough to drive in winter conditions with uselessly ineffective summer tyres.

Not necessarily. It certainly doesn't cause any more. I don't like sharing the ground but have never gone along with blaming rugby for everything that goes wrong with the pitch. Especially as it isn't played when the weather is at its worst at the same time as we are playing.

Feel free to point out where I blamed or even mentioned Hull FC ?
I was replying to a post about the state of the pitch. There wasn't time to do a full relaying of the pitch due to the football season being extended and the confusion from the rugby league as if and when, or if at all there season would end. I don't suppose they knew themselves what to do as the situation was changing week by week. Those are the facts and the window to do such work was therefore shortened..
Some times there isn't any blame although if you trawl through the earlier posts some where trying to blame the club, some times there are just facts and circumstances you can do little about.

He came to the KC when we moved, I'd describe his role more inline with stadium manager though at the KC...can't remember what his official title was, but I remember the arse kicking I got from him for running onto the KC pitch during one of the walkrounds we had before the official moving day
