They had a bright start but it was only a start, they didn't have anywhere near the number of points on the board that we do before they started to crash and burn. We can and will get the few wins we need for safety. But our destiny is very much in the hands of injuries to how painful it's going to be imo.
More concerned about Ralph walking away than being sacked tbh. He is the pritt stick and sellotape holding this shed of a club together at the mo, if he goes suddenly we are looking downwards.
Second game in a row we have had two awful decisions against us. Ralph can’t control bad officials or bad VAR.
There's more than a hint of irony in the fact that the first 9-0 (and now this one) are the sort of thing that give PR-conscious DOFs/presidents of big clubs pause before chasing a manager. I can see a time where Ralph decides to leave, but these couple results probably limit his upward mobility for a while, even if he's still doing a hell of a job given the resources provided.
Let’s not be naive, why would Ralph want to stay with a club that has a paper thin squad, weaknesses all over the pitch and no financial backing whatsoever. He’s a better manager than we currently allow him to be. I can see a parting of ways in the summer knowing we will have to sell our best player to get anyone in.
If you put any so called world class manager in Ralphs position with such a bare thin squad and a idiot getting sent off after two mins I don't think they would do much better
The one thing I'm furious at is the Bednarek red. No he didn't go for the ball but HE WAS TRYING TO GET OUT OF MARTIAL'S WAY!!!! HE WASN'T TRYING TO FOUL HIM. Show some common sense for crying out loud! No one would have moaned if he's only booked Bednarek.
We won’t be relegated but we will end up 12-14th I reckon. Ralph won’t walk out on his contract, only if he’s poached. Which is looking less likely.
Sometimes you just gotta laugh, boys. Lick our wounds and move on. I for one still absolutely adore Ralph.
I think Ralph will walk, he offered his resignation after the Leicester 9-0 and I don't think the board will stand in his way this time.
