Completely different sports. Where the games are stop start and the majority of rules are binary. There's no comparison whatsoever.
VAR's the problem because VAR has been implemented in such an absurd way. While instant replay is never without controversy (and neither is lack of instant replay without controversy), there is no reason why VAR should be adding complexity to decisions. At worst, it ought to be a wash, and that it isn't owes to the rules as they stand.
