Why don’t we get players sent off when we play the relegation teams? Always a top 6 team. Knew this one was a defeat before the game but the mental toll is worrying for the team. Can’t even blame the ref, var or the weather.
The team were shell shocked. It's not great by any means but we're down to bare bones, playing with 10 men against one of the best teams in the league. We bounced back from the 9-0 (and in style) and we'll bounce back from this. We've just got to grit our teeth and bare it tonight.
I'm ****ing livid. The only positive I can think of is that our fans haven't wasted the time and money to watch this ****-show.
Thing is, we almost never do backs to the wall defending, so now we're forced into it, we're not very good at it. If I was Ralph I'd be telling them to press just inside our half.
Not sure i agree - we had back to the wall pretty much with 11 players v Liverpool and we won 1-0. It wasnt like Pool had 10 players ahead of the ball.
He knows for certain the cameras are on him. I imagine he enjoys when it goes to VAR and he could be on screen touching his own ear for 2 minutes
We don't know yet - he might have found a really good hiding place in the changing rooms and Ralph's still looking for him
Maybe so, but they are professionals, and they should be able to keep more shape. I’m not saying Ralph should go, far far far from it, but he doesn’t need to intervene and direct from the sidelines, and v Lei and tonight, he just looks like he is watching Nightmare on elm street as a 7 year old boy.
