Entirely correct decision due to a stupid wording of the Law. Where a player commits an offence against an opponent within their own penalty area which denies an opponent an obvious goal-scoring opportunity and the referee awards a penalty kick, the offender is cautioned if the offence was an attempt to play the ball; in all other circumstances (e.g. holding, pulling, pushing, no possibility to play the ball etc.) the offending player must be sent off.
They really aren't that good a side. A penalty and an absolute wonder strike from 25-yards is what won them the game. We had a chance near the end to nick a point too, and that was with 9 men. I'm convinced that if Luiz doesn't get sent off, we win that game comfortably.
