He's been feeding on scraps. Just not creating anything for him. The pitch really hasn't helped how we're trying to play today to be honest. Well, that's that. Not an easy watch by any means. I'm off to have a massive drink. Night bors.
0-0 and Millwall miss an open goal. Commentators blaming the ref. We were crap, but we did not get beaten
No goals from three games. Are there any positives to take from this game? Answers on the back of stamp and post it to.....................
Completely agree. But frankly Dowell nearly cost us the game twice - once for the penalty chance (it looked like one to me) and then for that control touch leaving an open goal at the end.
Reasons to be cheerful: 1) Perhaps we were saving our energy for the Swansea game and we're going to smash them on Friday 2) Perhaps this is just our bad run, in which case a couple of draws isn't too bad (compare Bournemouth's bad run) 3) Ipswich are currently 4 points behind Accrington Stanley and Crewe Alexandra
The good news is that Bournemouth are losing 0-1 at home to Sheffield Wednesday, but with Swansea coming up on Friday it's going to be tough as they aren't playing mid-week.
I can't believe it took 89 minutes to get Cantwell off the field. He spent more time on his butt / whinging to anyone who'd listen. Yes, Todd, man-marking is allowed in today's games. Get used to it. Any neutral watching that would swear blind the team in blue were league leaders and those in yellow fourteenth!
I'm leading a charmed life to still even be involved! In fairness, we deserved nothing from either Boro or Millwall. I don't suppose Swansea are quaking in their pumas if they watched either / both our last two matches. In fact, I'd go as far as to say Swansea could well be my MDT swansong.
Cris Gorham made the point on BBC Radio Norfolk that we have played both Middlesborough and Millwall in the league before the two recent matches. In both those previous matches we just beat Middlesborough by a penalty and drew with Millwall at home. He concluded that both teams have managers who know how to frustrate NCFC (not his exact words) and that Millwall have drawn 14 of their matches this season. Swansea have made a number of signings in the now closed transfer window.
Bournemouth are losing 1 - 2 at home to Sheffield Wednesday. Rhodes has scored for the Owls. Seven added minutes! SW win so Bournemouth dropping down league rapidly. Their manager next to be sacked?
