Sorry but I disagree. It was just a horrific challenge. You don't accidentally go in 2 feet over the top of the ball.

That would have been goddam awful in a sunday league game. The kid is supposed to have been coached at the highest level and I'm not suer a 'rush of blood' even accounts for that. Indefensible.

 

The fat lady may well be in costume practising scales in the dressing room but it's not over till she actually sings.
