According to Italian press, he has a verbal agreement to join Napoli in the Summer, but if Napoli get knocked out of the Italian cup, he will join earlier, they want him to become a technical director with the aim of coaching his successor to takeover from him. Which is an unusual position as most managers abroad are coaches, with a Director buying players, this role will give Rafa the chance to have ultimate say on transfers. They want him to have a young Italian backroom too for the future.
Club's been for sale 13 years and in the current "takeover" for 13 months. Patience isn't really the word you're looking for. Delusion is probably nearer the mark.
