Playing devil's advocate here but rather than MSD "investing" or "loaning" the money it was 3 employees as such of MSD. I know the terms do seem similar to how MSD have lent money to other clubs but whether FPP were going to play the same type of game or do something different, I suppose we'll never find out now. But there must have been a reason for those 3 to break ranks so to speak and do this separately from MSD
Our man has his own money, lots of it, and is steeped in football ... ... unlike the Saudis, Storey, etc, he's absolutely squeaky clean. If people are determined to put a downer on it they're perfectly entitled and I totally respect their right to an opinion ... ... f**k them
We are so lucky to have KLD and his football savvy with all his knowledge about the game. His money and also his connections. If you put down a wish list of a new owner you will come up with something of a model relating to KLD Surely everybody can see this and should be over the moon with excitement. Can you just rethink what has happened Graham, Grigg and Dobson gone within a blink of an eye. Plus we have brought in a few player with a bit of pace. Is this a bloody dream. If it is don't wake me up
Think the window we've had is one of our best for a good while. Sensible well thought out acquisitions that will fit in and change our style of play. When was the last time we could say that? All of our windows over the last few years have been either panic stricken or just to get bodies in.
Get what you're saying mate but my excitement with the new regime comes if they can get us out of this god awful league.
For me seeing the new regime running this massive club in a proper professional way with everything it's fanbase deserve. It will be a powerful force and no other team in this league will be able to cope with that force. It is possible for this year still to be promoted and I personally think we will via the play offs. The important thing will be the academy and how it is run. The fruits will come from which we plant
After a few false dawns with the signings that we have made in recent transfer windows I'll wait and see if the window was a good one or not, but there definitely seems to be more of a plan.
I think it’s just that we seem to have addressed things which needed. No idea about any of the players but Stewart is 6’2” and quick apparently. From a few snippets I’ve seen he looks decent in the air with a very good leap. The other 2 I know nothing about
I'm not so sure they'd have the business sense or intuition. Probably just pure greed that put FPP off.
FPP were only interested in investing in the fly entrepreneur Stewart Donald according to him, obviously it's been proven time and time again that the smart businessman couldn't lie straight in bed.
