I hope not, would any F1 team be stupid or desperate enough to risk any deal with him unless it's cash up front in full?
lol, I dunno if I admire him or not, he's got so much front. love the wikipedia page Rich Energy Ltd. is a British beverage company that claims to manufacture the Rich Energy energy drink. apparently it's onsale since march 2020, might buy some.

Y’know maybe Hamilton is just going to have to be a bit more cool about the money. https://apple.news/ACvtyX8PuQqmaPm53FD7AtQ
Not only has JB joined Williams, not only has he got a DTM team but he has also set up an extreme e team and he will be driving it too!
What is his explanation for Gearge then. I fully get it is complex, that it is not easy etc etc. But he is not performing as he should whilst choosing to be a racing driver. I am not, never would be good at racing cars but I am good at what I choose to do. Bottas chooses to race so he needs to be good. He will one day have time to reflect on all this and realise for himself.

Can someone please clarify something for me ? Is the Drivers salary included in the new budget cap ? I don't think it is , though i know there is talk of a max drivers budget of $30 Million in the future .
No drivers and I think 2 or 3 staff cost not included in budget cap. But there is supposed to be a driver salary cap coming in in 2022 I think. If the drivers already have a contract where salary is in excess of cap then contract salary is OK!
Thought something like that , then the express want to have a word with themselves . Also I will be interested to see if they can make the drivers salary cap actually happen !
I think this is accurate, yeah. As agreed the cost cap doesn't involve drivers/senior execs, but that was agreed pre-COVID. There's now greater agreement on the need for further cost reductions. The proposed driver salary limit is $30m/yr for both drivers - going over that will reduce the amount available to spend on car development. For Hamilton who commands a salary in excess of $30m/yr by himself, obviously that has a big impact. If he signs a deal now, he can potentially secure his salary at his current rate, but perhaps he doesn't want to be tied up for so long with the regulation change and the prospect of leaving the sport.
I am sure a 3 year deal with options both ways could be written if he wants a get out. From what the press and pundits are speculating it sounds like Lewis wants 3 year deal and Merc don't!!! You can sort of see if George does OK this year Merc will want him to partner Lewis for 2022. With the new regs in same year it will be great test. If George, again, does well then why pay Lewis $30mill when George will be less than a third. My guess is 2 year deal with Merc having 3rd as option and Lewis gets his salary and other requirements.
so in the future IF the driver salary cap is introduced , that will come out of the team spend overall ? As in it will impact on the team budget total ?
Thanks . I am still not sure the teams can impose it , as I have said before , I think even Horner said it might not be enforceable . I might be wrong , I usually am !
