Hope Jonny's medical doesn't reveal something unexpected. He can be a really good addition to our pedestrian midfield and enhance Wilson's skills. I wonder who will be fearing for his place.
Here's one rumoured who wont be coming.................. https://www.expressandstar.com/spor...sall-agree-deal-to-sell-zak-jules-to-mk-dons/
No offence taken. Hope im wrong but weve appointed Mick McCarthy. Hes dropped Wilson because others have impressed in training added Flint and has signed a player who cant cut it in a League 1 side whose goal and assist record is poor. Sign players who are barely L1 standard and thats where you end up. We are in serious decline making signings like this. Its worse than Slade bringing in Alex Revell.
Lose 6 on the bounce and you cant complain. What is happening now is why I would have stuck with him. Its actually worse than what I thought. In a week McCarthy and Johnny Williams. L1 here we come.
Hi Hilts hope you and yours are keeping well. I think dropping Wilson was an attempt at putting a bomb up his bum and in fairness, he looked a bit better when he came on against Millwall. All my life I've wondered how we can judge players we're interested in. All I will say is that there's every chance that they will be different players when joining a new club with new players around them and different systems to play to. I appreciate it could go either way but at some point, we have to give people a chance. MM has had two games and a tiny bit of a strange transfer window. I'm certain he's experimenting for the good of the club and he certainly wouldn't want to tarnish his reputation. Let's get behind the decisions and see where it takes us just for a little while. Still admiring your steadfastness mate
If you're right Hilts, it won't be this season with the bottom clubs way behind us. As for next season, that's a different matter.
Saw that Sparks. I'm not disappointed. I think Ciaran Brown will cover any gaps in our defence and as Jules has never played above Div. 2 it would have been too risky.
Absolutely right as I see it. And that presents us with a golden opportunity to start effecting change by experimenting, giving the established players something to think about, blood some of the youngsters and, try some new faces.
Yes I think we are safe this season. Weve had it next season with this sort of recruitment. The hope of replacing Harris was it gave us a few months to build. We are making it worse adding this standard of player. All we need now is Jordan Rhodes to make it even worse. I mean Jonny Williams!!!! I doubt he gets in Newports team.
Looks like Glatzel has gone then - stand by for Jordan Rhodes.......... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55889596
