Gueye presumably is known to Jones. He probably just said "he's good, PL experience, might be up for a loan". Bit of false ambition from Charnley, but obviously doesn't happen.

Willock much more up our street. Won't do much - these loans never work - gives him some gametime for a bigger, more ambitious club.

Moving to Newcastle on loan in January just isn't appealing.. They'd have to be absolutely desperate.
