their finishing has just been poor this season. Chances created have been top half stars wise just not been putting them away. We should have enough but they’ve played better than results suggested at times this season.
Good to see you back. I made a campaign to help fund your internet, but there was a lot of resistance from RHC and Zanjinho
If I manage to keep the job that I have got (worried about my probationary period lol) I should be considerably better off than I was I loved my old job and after 22 years I had got most of my jobs pretty much sorted but the pay I was on was terrible for my level of responsibility. I always did the job a- for comfort and ease and b) cause I have always loved the community side of what I did Not going to lie - and with my positive nature lol I am ****ting myself about starting somewhere else let alone coming at the level I am going in at Will see how it all pans out But things are looking up
This will be a test for our attitude. As ever we've risen to the occasion of playing the perceived "better" sides, so we mustn't fall back into the complacency we often treat the lower ones to.
Agree Saint. We've done really well to turn things around, albeit in just 2 games but they were two very tricky games. What I'm most happy about (other than getting max points) is that the performances have significantly improved, and it bodes well going into future games with confidence and momentum. Let's take one game at a time - I think we all said this but getting on a 2-3 game winning streak changes the entire outlook. And it's been proven just over the last week where we were facing ending up 7th but are now 3rd .
Sounds similar to me tbh; Been in the same job for 20yrs (in about 3wks), not the highest pay (never been money motivated) but I like it, only do 34hrs a week and it's flexible so really suits me and the family.
I think they have quite a good side. They seem to have got a few more goals in them but right now seem to have gone the other way with conceding a few. They just seem in that close but not quite right scenario, its hard to know. I just expected them to be about midtable after how the last season finished.
i think performance wise they should be another 9 or so points really. Been a few games where should have won with better finishing such as the Fulham game recently that finished 0-0. Maupay scores goals but also misses a few. lamptey been out recently which hasn’t helped either
yeah, we should have beaten them by more than 1-0 so that late pen wouldn't have been a disaster. Only oursevles to blame i suppose. Hopefully we can grab a couple of goals.
Two new centre backs in. Chances of either of them starting on Wednesday? Reckon prob still going to go Phillips and Hendo for next couple games
I reckon Hendo plus one of Phillips or Williams, probably Phillips. But imagine making your debut against Man City...
given how well Phillips has done compared to Williams recently I think Williams is unlikely to see much first team action rest of the season. Thought with these two coming in he might have gone on loan.
Klopp confirmed Matip is out for the season. any club lost their 3 senior centre backs for whole season before? I guess that’s why we’ve rushed to get these two done, plus only announced it after signings done in order not to drive up prices.
