It looked good for Aloneamongmillions but he faded badly in the closing stages. Perhaps the heavy ground told in the end as he did weaken...with the Codfather nursing him home. If he gets better ground at Cheltenham (assuming he goes) he could run well..
finished lame , the usual jockey that’s won on him was on the runner up , at least his price will be bigger next time
Just noticed the full result in the racing post states it..thought it was a little odd how he suddenly stopped his run. Paddy Power have pushed him out to 33/1 NRNB for the Foxhunters (or whatever its called now). That could be a decent little bet that, assuming he goes there in good form and ground is better. Perhaps the Codfather is just getting to know him better ahead of Cheltenham..
