Just once can one of our players try pressing the opposition when they lose the ball, instead of jog back into our own half to set up the low block for the 307th time?
A brief summary of our play in the final third * One of our players breaks forward, with no support whatsoever * That one player swiftly gets into a 2-on-1 with Brighton's defence * That one player then trots back into our half to set up the low block, without looking to press the ball How many times have we seen that exact scenario this game?
Ndombele get studded on the ankle, again. Alderweireld got booked for doing exactly that. Edit: Looks like Maupay did too, unless it was something he said.
70 plus mins gone... Brighton 14 attempts 6 corners Spurs 3 attempts 1 corner Shameful from all involved
How are we simultaneously too slow when getting forward, yet also too slow covering our defence? Surely if we're too slow doing one, we should at least be in position for the other by mere coincidence?
Lamela? Why? We've got three wingers and two of them don't look like they know where they're playing.
Just a thought: maybe get the ball to the forward players at some point? It doesn't matter who we bring on if they're not going to see the ****ing ball
