A lot of our guys like Maddison and Perez want all the time in the world on the ball and you just can’t do that with Leeds pressing... both teams showing weakness at the back. I haven’t watched Leeds enough to know whether they tend to tire later in games due to their style which you’d expect to be the case.
Momentum ... we had it and then a needless poor pass from Madders left us caught up field and puts Leeds in the ascendancy... did well to whether that. Regroup and rethink.
Too much so...the basket ball game Brendan didn’t want. Another injury to add to the list Timmy as well. Good news they look like they can be beaten in defence. Bad news I think we look even more likely too!
Yes half time couldn’t come quick enough, although we did seem to settle down the last 5. Maddison was trying to be too clever.
Surely if you’re going to start looking at those on VAR for potential pens then that has to be given? Either that or don’t bother reviewing them at all as it happens all the time!
