Having said that, I am sure Alf would prefer a new manager called Farke, he would have days of fun with that!

Burnley didn't have a shot either on or of target!
I don't know if that's ever been done before.

29 points for us and I reckon just one more win will guarantee safety this season. We are 15 points clear of the bottom 3 thats 5 wins for one of them and 6 losses for us. No will never happen we have done it folks. Beating a top 6 team is brilliant and should shut a few pundits up

Be interesting to see the injury toll though for the Everton game. Rodrigo Raphinah and maybe Bamford could all be missing

Would have preferred Brighton to have lost but all in all its been a great weekend results wise

hearing also that the club have taken a tough stance on some players who wanted their contracts paying up so that they could play for other clubs. So Grot, Nessy and Bhoy may have to suck it up. Also Las Palmas tried to pull a fast one with Rafa Mujica, so the club have pulled the plug on a sale and bringing Mujica back. We should get to know some facts tomoz or day after

Think this is good from the club. A pain that we're still paying them but shows the players that it isn't all about player power and if they want to have their cake and eat it that they won't get a new club. I hope it shoots them all in the foot and they never play or earn money from football again. I remember hearing Milner moving to Liverpool from City for a pay cut as he wanted to play games. That's how players should be, get into the game because they love playing and are willing to take less money to play football. It's not as if they'd struggle either way so I don't understand it.
