Love the way the local media are now reporting this as fact and challenging anyone who disbelieves it - all down to an article in The Sun FFS Not even their own journalism and they are defending it as fact
I don’t think there’s much disputing that it’s fact? I think the dispute is how much it matters / whether it’s been resolved yet. Seems clear it was a minor issue that has been resolved but was the cause of the delay on the EFL side.
Also what Nixon hasn’t said at any point, is that Donald or Sartori or anybody is refusing to comply with this. A lot of people have just assumed they have / are refusing.
It’s the Sun, say no more. The fact that they state Sartori wants away from the club leads me to believe it’s a non story. They also state SD wants rid when we all know he’s done everything he can to stay involved with a minority stake.
If there’s any truth in it at all it’s probably a clause to stop what happened to Wigan happening to us. The then current owner sells up and walks away only for the new owner to put the club into administration weeks later. All of which was the EFL’s fault for not scrutinising the new owners closely enough. If they were to insist on JS & SD covering any future costs it would be to cover their arses.
I think it’s hilarious me, a click bait article is released and the amount of people that start pissing glitter is unreal, none of these appointments would of been done under SD, the bloke is an absolute buffoon and wouldn’t have it in him to even think about appointing a sporting Director. people need to chill and cool their jets, I am not worried one bit (apart from the ****e football ) but that will improve HTL.
And see which newspaper printed it? The Sun on Sunday. You might as well be asking Lee Ryder, Steve Wraith or Mick Martin for unbiased opinion on SAFC if the Custus brothers have anything to do with reporting it.
You and I both know that the EFL cannot interfere or have any jurisdiction to interfere with the commercial affairs of a PLC. Only the directors of the company can do that. There are no regulations or rules within the EFL legal requirement of the Fit and proper persons test so this rumour will have no substance imo.
More likely to do with the debacle that unfolded at Charlton with who owns what and at Sheffield Wednesday.
It was reported as all agreed yesterday and subject to a medical ... ... looks as if that's done. Things are looking good.
Keith Downie posted half an hour ago everything’s agreed and it should get done, here’s hoping the new lads kick us up a gear mate
I think he will start like a hurricane, couple of quick hatricks then fall into the Sunderland way and bag 1 a month,
I am hoping with the other new lads we now have the pace and youth to go 100% without fear of any team in every game and get us out od this poxy league.
