Who tops the 'Pointless passing' League?

    You know, sometimes you can pass the ball too much. I think Barca pass it better than most teams and to an extent mesmerise the opposition. This gives impressive possession stats.

    Lets take Arsenal as an example in this case (i could have chosen any team) the passing in some games is very good and accurate and the possession would suggest they are the better team. However their position in the league belies the success of their approach. The result is that their manager and supporters think that they were unlucky/robbed not to win.

    So, in conclusion do you need more than one method of play according to the opposition? If so shouldn't the manager, if experienced enough be prepared to alter tactics when need arises? Do you keep on playing 'Plan A' when it is obvious to everyone that it isn't working?

    If you do, do other teams 'pass you by' so to speak?

    On every board there's a little group of boys playing together for comfort and security. You know the ones, laughing at each others childish emoticon posting. And yes, i am a spurs fan however one thats lacking in class, style and a basic understanding of written English to be a true Lillywhite.
