i thought the site software was assessing the quality of my posts but sometimes it happens on threads i haven'nt posted on so it might be something else.
Whooaaa you silly old bugger, please re-read my post! At no point have I slighted the fans who watch the oval ball game. I referred to the players 'egg chasers' to use your very own words. Dont get condescending with me you numpty. Seeing has you created the thread and posted half of all the posts I think I'd best leave you to argue with yourself.... Fcking egg chaser
I am sorry if i have fractured your fragile, gentile, way of life, but, if replying to people who have taken the time to reply to me insults you i really am sorry. Calling people is not a nice way to behave, but, if you are going to do it to me, a ****ING numpty, seriously, is that the best you can do???? And the cour de gras?? f(u)cking egg chaser????? and to think, that tomorrow we will wake up and laugh about it............ well
Loved F1 during the 70's -mid 90's but when the Kaiser Schmacher goose-stepped his way to numerous championships........nah lost all the fun for me
i will look forward to our round ball game tomorrow for a goal fest and for a good sky televised Millennium weekend of rugby but there maybe other sports that i might find are happening i.e.yachting to further enjoy my weekend watching on t.v.
Rugby League, the only game you can play all season, not win a game and still not get relegated from the top division, what a crock of sh*t
Okay B'n'A i agree with you that the lack off relegation and promotion makes a mockery of a season of attempt by some teams
prefer league to union and support KR over FC cos my dad does plus I used to travel on the 246 from Hornsea down Holderness rd to school which is east hull. the ony union game which interests me is vs france as I live here. most rugger buggers have posh southern accents which irritates me.. "all that rugby puts hairs on your chest, what chance have you got against a tie and a crest" the jam..
F1 is a bag of ****. It's not a sport as it's not men it's machines, it promotes pollution.. plus it's ****ing boring they go round and round.. who gives a flying ****? sorry I am semi pissed..
Football is the important thing for me. But, I also follow the FC, am very keen on Yorkshire Cricket and keep an eye on the Ionians scores. I have Tickets to twickenham later today, but will be watching the game from the Millenium stadium on Sunday, and will spend most of my time on the internet on Sat checking out the City score. Never understood why people argue between sports. I love them all, simple as that. If someone likes X-Factor then of course it is OK and indeed, correct to point out there twatish-ness, but loving any sport is OK by me!
I had a flirtation with Fulham RL when I was based in London. Rugby league never managed to catch on in London. This was in the days when rugby union was a totally amateur game(?) At that time there was a passionate hatred between the two different codes of rugby.
NONE at all. It ended when Hull FC and to a lesser extent HKR tried to gain the upperhand over City and football in this area during the early 80's. They were successful then, in their sport and we were struggling in ours. The two are a million miles apart but the two were put on an equal footing. Which is hardly a "level playing field" There is too much financial involvment for the two sports to be on friendly terms. Simply because a successful football club in this area means less support and sponsorship, media coverage, exposure, etc etc etc for them. The two codes are fighting for every penny they can get, against not only each other but against every other arm of the leisure industry. Money rules everything, without it your sunk, and like it or not rugby league is a poor man's football. In Hull that situation would be reveresed if our two local clubs had their way. Simple facts of economics, there just isnt enougth money to go around.
Football is the only sport I'd make the effort to go and watch every week, though I did regularly go to Bethnal Green to watch the boxing when I lived in London(I still watch all major fights) and I also enjoyed Friday nights greyhound racing at Walthamstow. I watch F1 if it's on, but I wouldn't make a special effort to see it and I support England in all sports(though for tennis I only watch Wimbledon, Cricket only the Ashes etc).
And me too. Set out with a target to reach 77,777 quid and is now around 1.7 million. Wonderful effort for a team mate who played at No7. ps. What happened to Sagegee? First encountered him on the Hull CityMad forum back in 2010 but hasn't been on here for ages.
