Sorry mate but I think you are underestimating the malaise that has set in at your club. This isn't just a this season issue. This has been ongoing since even before Rodgers left.

You have about 5 players who are good enough for the first team. The rest are deadwood. If you get a good manager in and give him carte blanc and mega dough to rebuild extensively in the summer then it could be turned around.

Can't see that happening though, can you?

 

Gerrard will be here for at least next season. He would leave if Liverpool came calling or possibly one of the Euro giants.

If and when he does go Gary Mac is a ready made replacement.

Gerrard was never in danger of losing his job last season. The progress was there for all to see even with that inexplicable collapse in January. We've improved year on year under him. You have treaded water for most of the last 10 years only making progress when you pushed the boat out for Rodgers.

You managed to chase him away pretty quickly though and since then you've been drowning. It's not as bad as it looks, it's a whole lot worse.
