It pains me to say this as I was hoping they would crash and burn......but villa do look a good side....
Bright got half an hour for Fenerbache last night in a 1-0 win. Top of the league but the three big teams there are all very close.
Var is a fecking nonsense....... the cuff of ings short sleeve shirt deemed to be in an offside position whilst rest of his body was behind the last defender...... seems that vars job is to disallow goals.....way too forensic as no way can they tell the split second ball is played....

45' SHOT! Final minute of this first half. It's been a similar story for the Nix so far, they've been the better side but as it stands they're level with the opposition. Opportunity for Clisby here, advancing through the middle of the park and going for goal from long range. He blasts a shot towards the bottom left corner, forcing Marinovic to get down and parry away. Clisby playing with plenty of confidence.
Considering the bit I’ve watched has barely been Sunday league it was a nice finish. Mark Bosnich on commentary and a giant bottle of mustard behind the home goal.
If technology is used, there will always be these marginal calls. However, as you say, VAR is cancelling too many goals with these decisions. I've said for a while that they should deem it onside unless there is daylight between the forward and the last defender. Anything else is deemed level and onside.
