All done and dusted. Its a dry beef curry. The flavours were superb but it was dry. Could easily get the same flavours with a bit of sauce. I did like how the beef was browning at the end in the oils added at the front end of the dish.
Was gonna say its the only way but tartare sauce and fish, match made in heaven. Similar taste to the cream.
When ever I have a chicken ceaser salad I'll put loads of horseradish over it, or tartar as 2nd choice bout the onky time I have it really as I usually just butter and lemon my fish
Disappointed with these fishcakes tbh. Its like a salmon mash inside rather than salmon meat. Whack Lidls ones are better I want that **** lookin like a fillet o fish but with with pink namsayin
Yeah, lidl is great for some stuff but very limited. We have a lidl and aldi in the same town. Fuked if you want anything different. Laughed at @West WindsR when he said he popped into a Jewish deli. Fuk me, the nearest deli, just a deli is 40 miles from me. So ****in limited. My culinary skillz are being underused
Yeah, should have been a bit more on the red side colour wise. Nice though but I'm still learning with the Thai stuff, could have been better.
I thought it was great mate. Schlems had a much better build up, it all looked great. When it came to the final dish, yours looked much more appealing, i'd always go for a prawn curry, would have been fantastic with decent sized prawns. But Schlem gave up the build up, and you can see the effort. I really can't call this one. If either had gone with something different than ****y boiled rice, that would have swayed it..
Random i know, but just sitting here having a beer, watching TV, and i just felt that i needed something, i'm a firrm believer in that your body tells you what it wants. I needed something sweet, didn't have much in, well apart from choc biscuits, but that isn't what i fancied, so just are a 3 pack of Rolos. Anyone else just get the odd craving away from your norm?
