Think results/performances like today are gonna keep happening

We need a culture/attitude/mentality change and that type of change doesn't happen overnight. A lot of the squad are mentally frail and therefore can't see games out, can't change a direction of a game or take one by the scruff of the neck when under pressure.

Hopefully the injection of the incoming lads will help to shift that but whatever happens this is a big rebuilding job....I was fuming during the game and the same at the final whistle but calmed down a bit now, unfortunately I think we need to be patient which for any supporter is hard, never mind us who are just fed up of being this ****

Matthews and burge fill me with no confidence whatsoever, I think it will be very good January if we managed to get an upgrade there before the deadline.
Amazing how confident a defense looks with a steady pair of hands behind them

He should have buried that but doesn’t even look like scoring and is missing sitters most games.
We were very poor across all areas of the pitch today.

I think Stewart will replace O’Brien

He's OK obrien. I think Stewart will just be a sub and cover for Wyke. Play wkye, obrien and jones

Despite his recent goals I don't believe Wyke will end the season as our main striker.

AOB was minging today. The ball didn't stick, he seemed to shy away from the physicality of their players and then squandered a class chance from about 12 yards out. Poor.

I think he is a terrible player did the same on Tuesday late on anarl.
If he sticks that away today as he should of then it was 3 points....we all know what happened next.
I see people slating the manager already but look at what he is working with

Exactly, the manager has got free reign to do what he wants from me. None of this is his fault. Rip it up and start again with proper infrastructure and a plan. Could be 3 or 4 windows to get what he wants.

We need to go back to 433, we’re far to open otherwise even if it means playing Gooch in the midfield 3. Quicker Onien sorts his shoulder out to take throw ins the better. Need him at full back

personally i'd be happier with a full back playing full back.

O’Brien is an absolute nothing player for me and most annoyingly, he is soft as ****.

I’d much rather see Gooch playing behind Wyke.

I can see both Gooch and Jones getting drafted back in. LJ is a massive fan of Gooch. And obviously signed Jones. Will actually allow us to stretch the game and inject some pace into a slumbered attack.

you could see the difference Gooch made just with his direct running.

Jones is similar so aye, I agree.

I won't say too much but LJ is really not happy with some of the players. That's why we have been very active in the window. Could even tell at the end today with his interviews.

We only have one orthodox right back, but Connor doesn’t get into our strongest side. Onien has played there for over 2 years now

To be honest I think O'Brien has been decent last few games, but today he didnt offer much. Before today he has been making runs that pull centre halves out of position which has been a big reason Wyke has had space to work with. He has led our press at the right times as well and gets in the box when the ball is out wide. All this after a few weeks with Johnson as coach. I am not saying he is first name on the team sheet but compared to what I saw in his first couple of games Johnson has got him contributing. As I said though today was poor. For saying he has come down from the championship you couldnt imagine him playing for us at that level.

Ultimately it is about how much can you change in one window. We seem to be focussed on shifting Grigg, Graham and Maguire so O'Brien is likely to be part of the squad to the end of the season. You cant shift them all immediately.
