Games in hand mean only two things, they have to be played and they have to be won. There is less chance of the season being curtailed now then there was a month ago. Dominate possession with some lovely football, we go one up, knock it around for fun and look like we can score at will ...but somehow don't. Second half patently inferior team picks it up, we get nervy, go on the back foot and pray for the final whistle. Rinse and repeat. I feel like I watch the same home game every week.
They had more possession than we did. Which is another thing, there have been more games where we've had less possession than the opposition. That also needs to be addressed.

It is better to be top than chasing, the issue is that all of those teams won't lose all their games in hand and if we play like we did today we'll need a lot more than dreams if we want to get promoted.
