Can't argue with that. For me, he would hoy a 20 yeard screamer in then vanish for 7 or 8 games, then paper over the cracks with another 20 yeard screamer and the cycle would continue. 20 yarders have stopped now.

For me, the fact a Championship standard manger has came here, and signing a couple of champions standard players, some, not all, speaks volumes for the direction we're heading.

Dead right mate, for this level it's unreal tbh.

I said recently that the salary cap shouldn't be the problem some believe.

Any player, with ambition, would come here for the same money over any other L1 club.

If they're not ambitious we don't want them.

Cheers for posting that, it's a good watch.

I can relate to all what they were talking about. Of course, to make the report relevant to all fans, they have omitted all reference to takeover uncertainty - unease about what was going on, exactly who we would get and who would end up in charge, the poor performances and the change in manager.

With not being able to meet up with friends at the match or watching games in the pub, then there has been no space to vent worries, frustrations or anger.

It certainly has had a very bad effect upon my mental health. Coming on here helps, but it isn't the same as having a drink with a mate or with a group of friends.

You don't get the immediacy, the silent nods of agreement, the lift of seeing the enjoyment on your mates' faces. The camaraderie of grief when we concede a goal.

    Ha'way the fans!

If he was consistant he'd definitely be playing in the Championship, maybe even have a few Scottish caps. He's frustrating, if he'd been consistant last season it might have made the difference of us getting into the play offs instead of staying down, just turning a few draws to wins or defeats to draws.

Cannot blame Maguire for not going up last season - the goals he gooch and scored would have been enough if our useless centre forward scored the number he should have got.

I agree, mostly, but it's not just goals, it's the all round game. Too often last season he was at best average, if not a passenger where a bit more consistancy could have dragged better performances a bit more often from the team. Saying that, he's far from being alone in that. It's the fine margins and too many of our lot last year were too often on the wrong side of it, but I do feel more frustrated with Maguire, because I genuinely think there's a decent player in there capable of playing at a higher level. But if he leaves I'll wish him well, unlike some others we've had.

Mcfadzean is cack, Vokins needs to play from now on. AOB really poor today, didn't offer anything and Gooch is better. Jones in for Diamond. Burge greatly concerns me, he was awful for the first goal - almost Lee Camp-esque with the lateness of his dive.

I’m surprised his awful attempt at a save for Theo first equaliser hasn’t been mentioned more, crystal clear he could’ve done more

First goal was a deflection which might explain his slow reaction. Agree AOB was very poor, we should play either Gooch or 09 there and definitely Jones instead of diamond.

Should have made it 3-1 but it was a weak finish, within a minute they had made it 2-2.

Aye, one thing I've noticed with maguire is often he seemed to have to be dropped before he suddenly came back looking arsed for a few weeks. You can't carry someone like that, you're either motivated to do well or you aren't

The amount of fouls conceded today was poor, absolutely gifting them the chance to lump it up. I didn’t think we had one good spell of possession. O’Brien should of buried that chance towards the end but both him and Wyke were totally anonymous. I have faith in LJ as it’s massive rebuild needed but the spells we have where we dominate for 20 minutes need to be more frequent and actually last.

I really hope they are trying to get a decent GK in, even a just a loan, some up and coming u21 lad from the PL. It must be doable.
