No-one else was trying last season - it's the only possible explanation as to how we won the league, apparently.

should be but remember the return fixture?

Moye didn't let them out of their own half and frankly i could see anotoni run into the ground chasing our cbs passing it about.

Wasn't saying he wasn't, just responding to MITO and Moyes being defensive last time. Probably be more adventurous with Antonio in the side.

yes but the style of tactics might well be the same. Thus seeing antonio run himself into the ground just pressing our cbs.

I don't know what they will do but many times in the past moyes has gone negative.

This game now can put us in 5th or 5 points clear of 5th. Real 6 pointer.

We could be 1 point off 2nd and 4 of city

If we have any intent at all we need to put west ham away. It's not going to be easy or anything but we have to put everything in.

    anyway, when was a 2-0 a hammering?

    when newcastle beat you?

Sky seem to think Williams will start but my guess is that is because he did in the reverse fixture . Depends really on who is preferred for the set pieces particularly in relation to their CB's and Soucek .

the prior game has little to do with the current situation as many examples of both players have been made clear since. Williams played v ajax and did well so it was natural he would get a chance.

he's also made serveral errors since and a number of those off long ball over the top.

Phillips has made different types of errors where he looks far more likely to pick up a yellow or look extremely nervy and can't pass very well at all.

Its a decision thats going to be made on training more than anything.
