very surprised how good he is to be honest and if it's not too serious i'd wager a small bet on him being the signing of the season, reminds me of van de vart from spurs who i thought was the signing of last season

Just seen. This is really great. He fears ligament damage. He knows best what's with his ankle. 6 weeks out at least.

Presumably you mean when Ba is unfit.
As for Shola vs. Sammy... you can't rush the younglings into games, at least Shola has some experience, etc.

  6. I'm pretty sure in his interview he said he was worried and requested to be taken off the pitch.

Glad he's got like a week to get his **** sorted out <ok>

  8. No start for Shola!!!

I'd rather play 4-2-3-1 and play Ben Arfa

I can't be arsed with more hoofballs to Shola.

Having suffered the injury in the first half of France's 3-0 win, Cabaye re-emerged for the second but lasted only another two minutes before giving way to Marvin Martin.

Les Bleus can secure their ticket to Poland and Ukraine with a point against Safet Susic's side, who will pip them to top spot should they spring a surprise with victory in Paris.

Cabaye is desperate to play his part and told the French Football Federation's official website: "I hope I will be fit for Tuesday and that this game does not pass me by.

"My left ankle got stamped on. I didn't want to take the risk and came off.

"I will have tests, I don't know whether it is a sprain or a bad bruise but it was very painful and I couldn't carry on like that."

Coach Laurent Blanc was aggrieved at the treatment handed out to Cabaye, and told L'Equipe: "He took a heavy blow on his ankle. Our Albanian friends shook us up well."

Manchester United left-back Patrice Evra also faces a battle to prove his fitness for the decider, but Blanc is not anxious for an immediate update from team doctor Fabrice Bryand.

"Every time he has come to see me, it has been to tell me about another withdrawal," said the coach, who added that he will not be tempted to take a risk on any player who is not fully fit.

"And if he gets injured after five minutes, what do you do?" he said. "That would put the team at risk, and I hate that."
