I'm certainly not in the no contact camp ... but I prefer to see a genuine attempt to win the ball rather than the cynical stamps that both Lascelles and Shelvey got yellows for ... those can put a class player out of not only the game in progress but also future ones ... Maddison and Grealish get more than their share of those and players like them (and James) should get protection ... but nowt wrong with a good firm ball winning tackle

 

It’s the rolling around afterwards and looking at the ref that pisses me off. Happens in the game too much now. Not to say they aren’t fouls but jump up and crack on with it
