I don't mind the team at all. Surprised McGeady isn't rested. But... I for one cannot believe Wolves aren't recalling Dion Sanderson. We have a centre midfield plodder playing right back and now there's a vacancy in his other position of CB, we are playing somebody who returned to training 1 day ago. That's not to mention the left back being weak.
Fully agree its a strange one and a selection that I assume few expected. Flanagan blows hot and cold and has a mistake in him, this will, I guess lift the Gills more than us.
And if Sanderson is staying it may well be the final nail in the coffin from a confidence perspective. LJ in midweek said he was very solid when he came on. He'd have expected to start today.

Our bench has usually been people to lump the ball up to which doesn't work when they have a ten mana defence. Tired defenders hate fresh legs like Gooch and O'Nien running and passing around them. That's why, in the PL, winning free kicks, corners and penalties often come in the last half an hour.
