German MEP this morning saying unless the UK comply there will be consequences. He sounded like Herr Flick. He also doesn't realise that its AZ and not the UK but he still suggested we should be blockaded from getting the Pfizer one. The head of the commission also said that it isn't a first come first served issue like in a butchers... it's contractual. The same contract which was signed 3 months after ours.. and ours apparently had a specific clause in saying we would take 100,000,000 then AZ was free to supply the rest of the world as we had part funded the whole development.. so yes... it's about contracts. These sabre rattling clowns in Brussels also forget that AZ are under a contractual obligation from the UK to not make a profit from the sale of the vaccine whilst the pandemic is in play... and thereafter sell at cost to third world countries beyond that.. so they have no basis to preach morality to us on any level...

The EU bastards used the British people as Guinea Pigs to see if the vaccine worked in the first place now when they have found out it works, they stamp their feet demanding their order now and think we should provide them with the shortfall from our order and stock

I see the Eu we’re going to rip up parts of the NI agreement... the one they went ballistic at us for threatening to override. even Eire went nuts at them last night so in the end they had no option but to back down. elsewhere... the EU accidentally breached the confidentiality clause of the AZ agreement by not redacting it when they shared it..... They really are a bunch of gangsters and have undermined any future claim they could have made against AZ now the thick twats.
I got my first vaccine on Thursday and it turns out it's the Pfizer vaccine that I was given. Then the day I get it they announce they will be restricting exports of the Pfizer vaccine and now I'm not sure where that leaves me for the second vaccine. ****ing typical!!
