@brb @luvgonzo the one i've just ordered. If it turns out good, got my eye on a few more, especially one of those triple pieces
Yes, that was an option...But after spending about 4 hours on this site today. I took a gamble, and opted for one i kept looking at. It may be the first of a few, if they are as good as they look... Especially one of those triple ones... Would fill my back wall nicely, with some decent light.
Day five of not smoking done. Actually finding 80% of each day pretty easy but the remainder is awful. Hoping it will improve in next week or so. Still eating more but not quite the crazy amounts of the first couple of days.
Long time in the making, will it ever happen? https://news.sky.com/story/london-r...ter-clearing-first-government-hurdle-12202043
Where did that name suddenly appear from 'London Resort' it aint even in fooking London. It comes under a Dartford or Greenhithe postcode. It's merely taken the name from the company funding it, after Paramount and them seperated their ways. Anyway, they've got to take on this lot yet... https://www.kentwildlifetrust.org.uk/london-resort-development Maybe a not606 topic for 2031, put in the diary.
Not convinced that time will ever come but it will be nice if it did. Just wanna keep going bit by bit for now, be nice when I stop coughing up loads of black ****.
It's a disgusting habit. Each morning i roll a tab to go with my first coffee, cough and splutter, bin half the ****er...About an hour later, i repeat the process. Just don't ditch the tab. I actually don't know why i smoke, i havn't always. Maybe it's habit, maybe it's boredom, but really it all started again as i like to go outside on my breaks,
I started when I was 12 and gave up a few months later because it was a waste of pocket money and gave me a sore throat But in more recent times there is something added that makes it as addictive as drugs and alchohol which make it almost impossible to give up but I hope you succeed
I was 9 years old when I first started. But then took it up properly at 15 when I left school. Gave up in March 2020, due to the virus and knowing the consequences of going on a ventilator, if I caught it. Basically meaning if you smoke, your fooked. So 10 months in and still not smoked. The problem will be when the pubs open again, because smoking and beer go hand in hand.
Yeah I've barely finished one for years really. Nipper been casing me about it recently cos chest is bad, and when I went for one last week and put my mask back on the taste/smell reminded me just how ****ing grim it is. So thought **** it I'll give it a proper go. Be hard when pubs are open as I enjoy going outside. Should have some decent time to work with by then though.
As i smoker, i will be the first to admit it's disgusting. I hate the smell, which is why i only smoke in the kitchen with the windows wide open, and always over compensate on the rest of the gaff smelling fresh.
10 months is good going mate, nice one. Do you still miss it? Funny how different people are. I've known people who said once they did a year they didn't miss it at all, and others who after a decade still want it every single day. Reckon I'll be one who never fully escapes it.
