I just think she is a very vindicitive little bitch. More stories coming out about what went on behind the Whatsapp messages in trying oust Salmond for power, not that I really care about him.

Now supposedly siding with the EU over Vaccines, probably to get one up on the English, yet the government have already discussed this, but as always, she wants to go it alone and cause a political point scoring exercise. If she really is that desperate, maybe she could contribute all the intended Scottish vaccines.

She's pissed off because Ruth Davidson tore her a new arsehole yesterday.

It's all just icing around her agenda of Independence. Boris should let her go for it. Sadly I can't vote because I'd give Scotland the big X they want to go it alone.

I think she also needs reminding, until she gets her Independence, Boris is still the Prime Minster of the UK, regardless of what people think of him.

I think we need a Scottish Independence thread. <whistle> :bandit:

Arlene Foster has just made a statement on TV stating this is an aggresive act (triggering article 16) and she is calling on the UK government to trigger Article 15....what's that?

    She's absolutely fuming.

Old Nicola needs to realise as part of the U.K. Scotland has benefited from Furlough and early vaccine access.

if it were a vote, then I would vote for them to leave. Bring the sub fleet back south and adios.

said only a few days ago this would happen.

EU want to control exports of vaccines produced in EU. Well I would say the same for U.K. produced vaccines, got to protect the U.K. first.

I will get mine, along with everyone else wanting/promised one I am sure.

You will get yours mate, like I said I was only teasing. Glad you got the call.

I think this action is poor judgement on the EU's part. I honestly can't see anything that us (The UK) has done wrong. It really is not our fault they didn't take the same gamble, because that's what it was, BEFORE us. Even now I thought some areas of the EU such as Germany were disputing as well has awaiting approval over certain areas (age) of its administration.

As I've said countless times, this is easy resolved by sitting down and talking about it, triggering aggressive actions (as per Arlene Foster) is not the way forward.

The AstraZeneca trial had very few over 65's contract covid so its effectiveness in old folk is more of an estimate based on immune activity rather than real world data .
Personally would prefer the Pfizer one as it stands and that is the one that in future may be in short(er) supply here due to the EU actions .

I think let's just get it in arms for now, and look at any future administration later. Get the hospital admissions down, save lives, and start again with whatever is available to us and with more insight into the best vaccine going forward.
