NUFC 5-a-side and 7-a-side

    If you had to make the strongest 5-a-side team and 7-a-side team out of NUFC players, which players would you choose and what formations?

    Edit: Just to throw mine into the mix.

    5-a-side:

    Krul
    Coloccini
    Cabaye - Tiote
    Ba​



    7-a-side:


    Krul
    Saylor - Colo
    Tiote

    But Benny, Marv and Ba could do the attacking, we would need a defensive player, a holding mid. Cabaye is a better passer and shot on goal than Tiote, but Tiote has great strength, ball control and defensive abilities.

    With Tiote obviously coming forward when we attack, just think his physical presence would help out the more technical Coloccini. The reason I picked Harper instead of Krul is because he used to be a striker so could easily have a go on goal on a much smaller pitch. Jonas is very good up close and personal but his long passes/crosses aren't the best, on a smaller pitch this would be less of a flaw and his workrate and tricks would really shine. As we all know, Best scores nothing but tap ins (;)) long ball up the pitch (or deflected Harper shot) and Best can get on the end of it and finish the job.

    A simple 222 based on our three excellent partnerships, Colo and Taylor compliment eachother well, as do Tiote and Cabaye (who regularly switch roles during a game, allowing the other to rest a little in a deeper position). Ba and Best are both scoring goals and assisting eachother, I think this side would give any a good run for their money! <ok>
