well for me he certainly wasn't his usual self in his right back position against the toon,he has been decent at centre back...but IF everyone is fit he wouldn't get in that position...hopefully a dip from him the other night,he has been a great signing for what we paid
Thomas Franks has actually admitted that Leeds Utd were by far the best team in the Championship. In an interview last night he said this season there were half a dozen teams who could win the league, but last season it was clear early on that Leeds were going to win it and win it by a mile.
Afternoon all... If I had a choice of Alioski to leave for free or give him a 4year contract I’d say goodbye, that’s unless he is happy with Championship wages
If Alioski signs for that Turkish club then he can **** off now. I don't want him at the club. The disrespect shown by that club at the time won't be forgotten. Any player who played for this club and goes on to sign for them is a ****.
From what I understand he's already signed one of those pre-contracts you can sign 6 months before your contract runs out. So Allioski is pretty much one of their players.
Wow that extra 6 weeks of lockdown has really put you in a cheery mood hasn't it? Never seen you so negative!! 3 or 4 more wins, comfortably safe, 10 games or so to test the best of the youngsters, Koch and Llorente to come back in as fresh as a pair of virgins knickers next year, another £100M on new players in the summer and I will have a bet with Ristac we can finish Top 8 even with Bielsa in charge if he is up for it. Waited, so, so long to be back in the Prem, doing brilliantly in my book and even been able to take most of the defeats on the chin like a big boy, what's not to like??
Yeah I'm not normally this way, but as a lot of posters have said to me over the past 9 years, I should be more realistic. I'm going by the last 4 or 5 performances. It was a hard watch. Maybe it's the whole covid no fans at the games that makes it not as real. So do you think we can beat the top 8 sides in this division?
I'm really not bothered whether we can or can't. My only aim this season was three teams below us and another year of PL loot to build again. Koch and Llorente will be like new signings next year because we have seen as much of Glory as we have them this year. Struijk looks like he is developing into a PL player, Rodrigo and Raphinha will have a year of PL experience behind them (both look players already), anyone making the step up from the U23's is a bonus and more investment in the summer suggests expecting to beat some of the Top 8 next year is not unrealistic imo. Whether we finish top 8 next year or not is another matter but we can push on from this great start. I genuinely think we have an owner that wants to take us forward not just take the cash (mind you I did tell Eire that at ER 3 years ago and he was having none of it ) & that combined with our fanbase, sponsorship opportunities, support from the Council etc makes me think we should be looking to becoming a properly established PL side again. Enjoy the ride you miserable fecker
And when Bielsa goes.... Words Narcos and opinions are very easy to say and have. But it's ultimately down to the players. Everything you say could happen and I also wanted us to survive in the Prem because like you say it should make us stronger. You may call me miserable, but you know that is not me.
Imagine how depressing it was for all them years when we had Chippy and Jonty posting doom and gloom every day and how Radz is just a carpetbagger ripping us off....
Shako's grumpy because he wants the jab but can't have it because he's stuck in the EU and we've got all the vaccine
9:50 in the morning I will make my mind up which arm gets the Union Jack manufactured vaccine pumped into it.
