Not much to say about that cling and bfb, we were awful giving away 2 cheap goals from defensive bad passes, and a red card tackle caused by another. We had a couple of really good chances but didn't take them and paid for the misses. Reading weren't all that, but I thought we might give them a tougher game but our aim has to be survival this season so 21st on gd will be a success for me. BTW, He's gone!!!! hahaha Masky will be creaming himself over that. (no offence) w*nksock for sale

Watched highlights of Barnsley v Norwich cup game earlier. Barnsley looked good and their pressing game and movement up front caused Norwich lots of problems.

Only 29% possession but 16 shots, 10 on target.

They will be on a high on reaching the cup 5th round, ho.e to Chelsea, and up for it on Wednesday against us. MM will have his work cut out for us to get anything from the game. Their pitch is awful, as usual. That might suit us.

Going to be a tough start for us. The sort of game Warnock would relish, it will be interesting to see if MM can work the same magic.

 

Barnsley are a good side and have progressed under Ismael since we played them last, whereas we have gone backwards.

They are far from the "crap" team as they were labelled by some at the time and have proved it since.

Having said that, I expect City to be a different proposition for opponents since Harris's departarture and Mick's arrival - it would be nice to think that transition on the pitch would be immediate. A City win in his first game with us would do everyone a world of good.

 

Anyone watching the Boro/Blackburn game? Worth it just to watch Warnock performing again.......

Mind you, he had a bloody good point. His player was kicked in the face by a very high boot from a Blackburn player in the Blackborn area - definitely a penalty.

After the Boro player went off with a cut face and was replaced, the ref just played on - Warnock was bloody fuming full face on camera - the effing at the officials was unbelievable.......
