I hope you’re right. I did say if it sounds too good to be true it probably is but it looks like Grigg is happening. It would be great to get rid of him and the other two.

Is there any news on potential incomings?

We don't even really seem to have been linked with anyone that I've seen except for Stockley (now at Charlton), Nisbet (playing for Hibs now as I type) and a few left backs (Cochrane, Doig and Osew).

Maybe, and this sounds highly unlikely of our beloved club, but just maybe we are doing things correctly. We wont know until the photograph at the AoL holding the scarf above the head.

I’m expecting to not hear any rumours until Football Insider / Peter O’Rourke post that something is happening on Twitter. Somehow he has started getting everything first when it comes to our news.

It doesn't sound unlikely. The vast majority of our signings since we've been at this level haven't really been mooted by anyone until just before being announced.

Where's he based? I wonder if he used to get the inside track on Bristol's dealings?

Graham, he's up there twice as two of our worst ever signings !!
He can't be on that much cash anyway, so it'll be a relatively small amount to pay him off, would have thought.

Grigg deal has to be a loan surely. I can’t see another team in league 1 giving us our money back or even us taking a couple of million quid hit on the £3m we paid and letting him go for £1m. Not many teams in this league spending that on a player let alone a player of his age and way out of form.

There’s no way we’re getting a fee for him unless he’s **** hot out on loan and then someone might take a punt in the summer.

Just on loan so the big thing will be how much of his wages they are paying.
However much they pay is what we'll be able to spend on new players wages

The whole Grigg fiasco is a fcuking joke in my opinion, blame lies firmly at Donald's feet, any losses incurred should come out of his fcuking twenty percent.

Exactly, we must be agreeing a loan because I can’t imagine SD taking a hit on his marquee signing.
