Im pleased for David Moyes, he was happy at Everton then Man U virtually kidnapped him. Didnt give him a decent chance ( following Fergie was a hiding to nothing ). Later Sunderland came knocking and dragged him here. A disastrous move on both sides. Now looks like he has his career back on track. I dont like West Ham but good luck to him.
I've always thought that people who start with that kind of title are doing it because they want criticism. I expect you believe Sunderland ' dragged him here' without paying him a fortune.
No, Moyes is a twat, whose miserable demeanor and negative outlook after 2 games aided the decline of our club. Not to mention he ****ed up getting M'Vila signed and spent 13 million odd on Ndong. Prick.
Man U kidnapped him and we 'dragged' him here. Does the OP hang around Oxford bus stops by any chance?
Signing: Pienaar Lescott Nong Djilibodji Januzaj Love (FFS, he looks out of place in L1) Mika Pisshead Gibson Being unable to motivate: Khazri Kone Not signing: M'Villa Ignoring the medical advice and playing Kirchoff for 90 minutes every ****ing game and effectively ending his career. Oh and not to mention "If you weren't a woman I'd have given you a slap by now" and the one match in motivational speech "Well, nothings going to change, we're in a relegation battle." Aye righto. I feel really ****ing sorry for him.
I have mixed emotions on this. Ultimately, David Moyes is a good bloke. It's no secret that (on SMB at least) that he is a (very) distant relation of mine. He invited me and my boy to his last home game (Swansea) as his guests and my son had the experience of a lifetime. He was fantastic with us and came across as a really good bloke Having said that, his attitude to managing us was a disgrace. He realised he'd made a mistake within a few weeks of getting here and a bigger or better man would have walked away. Instead he kept taking the money whilst dragging everyone down with his negativity. Ultimately, he's a good manager. He was the wrong man for us
He failed at Sunderland, failed at Sociedad and failed at Manure. If he'd looked remotely interested during his time here, I could have cut him some slack, but he was miserable as bloody sin and destroyed any ambition and team spirit that Big Sam had built.
That dour B*****d was responsible for the beginning of our demise, I can’t stand the prick. He destroyed big sams team & filled it with over the hill ex mates & gold digging parasites. All the pig headed prick had to do was add 2 or 3 decent premier league players to that squad and we would have been fine. He had the money to do it as well but wasted it on dross.
I’d put him in the same bracket as thatcher, mcmenemy, hitler, the tories, nufc, the child catcher, penny wise and the scabs on the picket lines
I'll just never understand why he was so down about the prospects at Sunderland tbh. I know we'd been badly ran for years but we'd just been on a cracking run, had some players who had been performing well, I don't know why he came in with the attitude that we were likely ****ed straight away! I'm in a minority that (at the time) didn't mind some of the signings. I had the feeling that a number of players were against him and he likely brought some experienced lads he knew to try and get a bit of a hold over the dressing room. Have a very slight suspicion that allardyce was promising things to some of the players who likely disliked moyes from the off but I suppose we'll never know . Wish he'd walked away though if he hated it so much.
