That's what @Smug in Boots had heard. But could have been lost in translation somewhere down the line and that guy was Chris Davison. Or there is another guy coming in perhaps.

The two main obvious vacancies at the club are Recruitment and Academy however. Both would be Speakman appointments so you'd expect them to be lined up.

Which itself suggests that if its the appointment of a figure that's holding things up, it may indeed be someone more senior / board level.

The order, in which I was told is that KLD would have total control and that the two previous clowns would have no direct say or involvement.

Then that KLD wanted a 'henchman', for want of a better translation from the French I heard it in.

When, shortly afterwards, Davison was appointed I assumed he was the man.

He may be but his role, and low key arrival, makes me doubt that.

I'm now left trying to decide if someone else, more senior and visible, will arrive with KLD, as I was told they'd appear at the same time ...

... or is the bodyguard story correct and he's the henchman.
