Very poor performance combined with poor decision by GM to start with the Magennis and not changing it half time.

    Magennis?

It was Wilks that didn't turn up tonight.

Magennis was one of the few out there who did nothing wrong.

Dunno why we didn’t use our other subs

    Coyle had a nightmare
So did most of the others but Emmanuels been arguably our player of the season so far and should have come on even right mid

Come on .. let's get serious here.. we can't blame the ref or the pitch .. we have been second best tonight .. energy levels not as good as theirs .. and the idea of shoving Magennis up front is beyond me tbf. Got what we deserved tonight .. out fought .. out thought .. hope gorgeous George isn't a bad injury .. and for me would seriously consider changes for Swindon .. rest a few legs

Disgraceful performance. Defense was a shambles from the start. Wilks needs to be on the bench for a few weeks. Just hope Honeyman's injury isn't serious.

Completely outplayed tonight, just when I start thinking that it’s really his team this season, & maybe last year it was the players we got rid of, (may well be), but that performance was abysmal.

Oh well, back to as we were then, overall ****e.

We didn’t lay a glove on them, we were never in that game from kick off. Can’t pass, won’t pass, and George Long should have done better for that first goal. I know goals change games, if ours had stood, but we were never really in that **** shower. A game we could have done with getting something out of, they now have 4 games in hand!

After the last couple of games I think I was getting a bit excited, I thought that by default, due to neither of our big lumps being 100% fit, McCan had actually stumbled upon a winning formula, and that he would stick to the fluidity of it. No chance, he reverts back to Lumping it to Magennis. Epic ****ing fail! The previous two performances wouldn’t have looked out of place in a higher league, tonight’s performance looked like a lower league team that struggled to put more than two successive passes together.

We never looked like getting anything out of this game. Poor passing, finishing was dreadful and our defence was shaky all night. Its that sort of a league and Accrington were better than us tonight. Hoping for better at the weekend.

Yes out played outfought, they had an Ashby or two in midfield , Coyle was really up against it against the tall guy and his two mates inside him playing triangles - he had no help
We were lightweight , should have started With a proper winger
We need a POACHER too Elder and Smallwood couldn’t pass on that pitch didn’t help

Their games in hand mean they're going to be playing a bundle of games in close order on that swamp. Their game relies on pressure and running, so it doesn't seem like they'll be much more than playoff contenders at best.

Moving away from the front three that had demolished Accrington & Portsmouth was the wrong decision and fell into Accrington hands.
