Fair play to England, they have made a go of it. Their heads could have dropped, but they haven't.

It's called banter mate! I'm one of those rare British people who, after the country of his birth are out, supports other home country nations!! Unfortunately, most of the others tend to support anyone England are playing!

And...yet again...when the pressure is on, Flood bottles his kick. SO over-rated!!
Anyway....GOOD LUCK WALES. Please stuff the French!!

Hope we can, and thanks for the well wishes.

To be fair, England in the second half were much better. I don't think it was Flood's kicking that cost you, but his offloads going to French hands whilst in their 22 were very costly.

Me too to some degree mate!! I support all home nations, especially in football!! Always supported England at major finals. Wales are never there!! I don't support you getting there, but once you are, I'm fully behind!! But why do they always let 'us' down!! Not so much for the rugby team, I must admit, though I did want England to win in the 2007 final against SA!!! <cheers>

When the rugby is on you really understand that the press is very bias. Hardly a mention on the BBC, my paper this morning does not even mention the Wales Ireland game! Two full pages on England. Last night the other home nation results were not even mentioned.

Most anti-English stuff is just banter so get over it.

Agreed. Flood's off-loads were appalling. I just wanted to highlight the fact that he always bottles it under pressure!! Two World cup finals in a row, with one win, it had to come to an end.
I'd love to see Wales win it to be honest!!

With the amount of youngsters they can pick from it is Johnson's fault that none of them were called up previously to be given a bit of experience to they are ready for a World Cup. He needs to go if English rugby doesn't want to start dying a horrible death. (Well perhaps that is a bit harsh seeing as they are reigning 6 nations champions lol)

Im a bit disappointed they have gone out as a Wales V England Semi Final would have been great (plus i think they would have been easier to beat than the French lol)

It will be intersting to see if the media are as harsh with the rugby team as they were with the England football team after last years World cup

You have it arse about face mate. GSTQ is England's and Wales National Anthem. Land of our Father's is just an unofficial Welsh ditty.

I agree. I've always been surprised by the strength of anti-English feelings by the Welsh. Much more so than the Scots or Irish. That said, the British media is really the English media. England is always first to be mentioned in anything. It used to be funny whenever David Coulthard won a race he was "British" but when he wrapped the car around the barrier he became "The Scot"!

Congrats to Wales on the game. By far the better team. The moment I seen our "NUTS" banging on about it being a done deal NZ/Irl final I felt we could be in trouble!
