That is on City's ifollow every week too.

 

On match day, go to the match centre on the OWS. Then click on watch now. It will ask you to subscribe. That means giving them your debit/credit card details. It will tell you if your card has been accepted. It then asks if you want to go back to the OWS or to the match centre. Click match centre and the screen will go black with a white triangle in the middle. That's the play button. I find it doesn't always start straightaway and I have to click it a few times. It usually takes a minute or so and the picture and sound then appear. Failing that, I log out and go back in it starts first time. The picture and sound appear an hour before the kick off, so you can see the warm up. I discovered this week that the managers' interviews appear about 40 minutes after the game as well. I used to log in about five minutes before kick off but I do it much earlier now as it takes a few minutes to go through the subscribe process.

Hope it helps. I think you can go to the match centre earlier, including during the week, but you won't get the pictures till an hour before the match. You'll get James Fletcher and an 'expert' usually. Quite often it's Bryan Hughes but this week James seemed to be on his own.

The seriously annoying thing: I have a friend in South Africa and we 'watch' the match together, talking about it 'live' on Wattsapp. He is always about 30 seconds ahead on sound and picture! How? I have learned not to open his Wattsapp messages for 30 seconds so I don't know when the goals are going to happen.

I forgot to mention the little box in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. This will let you make the picture full screen. You can also change the commentary to home or away.

 

No. I certainly don't for my laptop.

 

I used an HDMI cable from my laptop to my television. Works really well.

 

I run a pre match event for the OSC on Saturdays, it’s on Zoom, but last week I put it out on Facebook Live as well. We have John Hawley, Stan McEwan and Justin Whittle as regulars and this week if they can master the tec, Dennis Booth and John Davies.
Starts around 1:45 on zoom and then I put it on Facebook at around 2.

I find them a real treat, not being a happy clapper supporter, it is still great to hear ex players talking through the games and how differently they see things sometimes.

 

I have sorted it now thanks. Was using it on my phone or tablet but have now, thanks to a bit of advice on here found out I can do it direct through the Internet on my new TV.

 

You may still struggle as it's a Samsung browser and not Chrome. My Samsung TV won't allow it.

 

No problem with mine. It might depend on how old the set is. I only got mine in December.

 

Get one that's a bit more expensive and has gold plated terminals.

 

Mine has gold plate. It's really good.

 

Get him to pause his stream for 30 seconds to bring both into line.

It is a new QLED one and allows it so I have found after the tips when I had wrongly tried to download the ifollow app instead of going straight on to the club website.

 

That long since I used my laptop I would have to dust the cobwebs off and then see if I could remember how to use it.
