It is possible for gift cards to be purchased via the EFL these can be redeemed for specific games. I am looking into how best to make this available to Hull City supporters in hardship who cannot afford to watch a game. I would like to offer this to genuinely struggling supporters and it would be a confidential exchange. Just as a gauge, if anyone genuinely and I really mean is genuinely struggling to pay to watch a game, please PM me in confidence. I only want to build a picture at the moment. No real names and certainly nothing will be posted on here other than the numbers. I would also like some idea of any financial support poster would be willing to give. My base point is 1 game a month donated as start. I think it would work that a gift code for a game is purchased and the details passed to me and I would contact the supporter with the code. But I need to speak to the club about how it would work best. No data would be held by me, other that the username of both parties. No money would be exchanged either. If anyone wants to help out, let me know.
If it's possible to do what you suggest, I'm happy to make the odd contribution to a cause you feel is worthy.
Just let me know what I need to do, and when I need to do it. I can't do it as a regular thing, but I'm happy to help where I can.
I have sent 3 emails out this morning to see if I can get this working, No response yet, but generally the people I have contact with don't start until around 2pm when we play on Saturdays and Tuesday nights. This is what I found, but its from December 2019 and I cannot see a link beyond it. https://www.efl.com/news/2019/decem...can also announce the,on the 'subscribe' page.
Yer Ive just searched google and other clubs allow to "gift" a half season subscription, but, only to overseas fans !! think the only way round it is to identify those that you want to help, create an email and password for each on ifollow. log in to that account, buy match pass then log out so they can log in !!. unless the club have other solutions. I have a couple of mail.com emails I randomly made up for those Ive helped previously.
I have a few "other ways" up my sleeve, all of which mean that no one is identified on both sides. You do not have to buy anything to subscribe to the clubs iFollow, so that's a start. It can be done, there is no doubt in my mind about that, it is just that getting to the right people is a bit harder. This is from the iFollow site for those who haven't used the link New Gifting Feature We can also announce the launch of a new gifting feature, that can be used across all EFL Digital pass types. The “buy as a gift” feature enables fans based anywhere in the world to purchase any pass type of their choice, as a gift for an individual they choose, via a simple tick box on the 'subscribe' page. Gifting will be available throughout the remainder of the season, and is a great present idea for EFL fans across the world. I will if needs be, go direct to the EFL and shame them a little, I mean ask them to re-instate the above.
