I agree ... there are flashes of a very good side there for sure, but so many new faces need time to bed in ... and, unfortunately, time (and Roman) waits for no man ...

He’s bought a lot of baubles and kind of forgotten about the tree. Could have probably done without one of Werner/Havertz/Ziyech and brought in more of a spine.

Think Lampard just stepped up too early. I don’t blame him for taking the job, it just wasn’t the time to bring him in as he hadn’t proven himself as a good manager at Derby.

Same as Ole really, but Ole had that caretaker spell at United to win the board over.
