No I don't think button would. And I don't think someone would suggest that either but it was the only thing I could think of that you meant.
Good on D'ambrosio to outqualify Glock. Ricciardo seems to be able to outqualify Liuzzi with ease now
If Lewis was pushing harder, than Jenson would of done the same. Lewis backed off, so Jenson did the same and saved the tyres a bit.
Just overslept. (**** ) and seen the results. So close... , but whats this Mclaren blunder im hearing off?
What odd's can you get on Vettel DNFing, Button winning, Massa crashing into Hamilton and Schumacher getting onto the podium?
Lewis was unable to do another quali lap and looked good to take pole, was too slow getting round and got swamped by webber and Schumacher at the chicane.
I thought the tone of my post made it obvious it was a little bit tongue in cheek. Guess not. TBH probably not but its not someting that can't be done - if you are devious enough of course. And I'm not suggesting for a minute that Button is devious. No No No.
Massa ahead of Alonso, and with the title out the window they can race their own races. Be interesting to see if drivers start approaching races differently now its all over (although Alonso has gone on record saying he wants 2nd in the WDC)
Happy to see JB get ahead of Lewis even though Lewis was on it. Vettel did what he needed to do and no more so hats off to him, but again he was handed pole but McLaren. Even though I am a Button fan Hamilton would have got pole if not for that slowing down stuff. And Schumacher cutting the chicane? Well that's laughable and a real indication of who he is I am afraid...
cant wait for this one, turn one is going to be crazy not to mention the first lap with overtaking opportunities all over the place, alonso tends to get great starts not to mention hes on the clean side.
The incident has been uploaded to the BBC F1 Website : http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/formula_one/15226573.stm And so has Lewis Hamilton's Interview afterwards in the drivers pen : http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/formula_one/15226576.stm
Spot on - my thoughts exactly. Why on earth do they always wait till the last second to give the driver no time for manouver during the out lap. The bottom line is Hamilton needed a minimum of a 4 second gap behind the car in front for a clean lap and so had to slow - he may have 'just' scraped over the line until the cars behind panicked and jumped him - but none of them should have been released so late in the day. And then to top it all off Whitmarsh comes on air and effectively blames Hamilton !! This is precisely the type of Mclaren farce I hope Sam Michael eliminates next year.
Its supposed to be faster. Its normally Vettel who just scrapes across the line and it works well for him. It wasn't a strategy error. Hamilton was too slow, but would surely have been told about how fast he needed to go and Webber/ Schumacher being close. I think it should be filled under "communication error" Button at spa style
Webber KNEW it was too slow - so went for it. Hamilton did not appear to know that he would miss out. Schuey also knew it was too slow - What was Hamilton doing?
