It has been a long time since I have so looked forward to visiting the scousers "fortress". This season was supposed to be their season to win that first premiership. But it is going to be a big disappointment yet again. We'll enjoy extending that wait....

It is their big day. But it is a chance to get our revenge for that defeat last season. It started badly and got worse. I cannot see us doing as badly again. If Hernandez and Rooney turn it on, we'll turn them over easily.
We haven't turned up on our last few visits to Anfield so I won't be taking anything for granted. Even a draw would be an improvement on recent visits there.

What is there to worry about? Carroll costs £35million but not worth £3.5 million, Carragher and Gerrard are coming to the end of their careers and playing like it. I know the scousers are desperate for a champions league place but that ambition is well above them as the Spuds (who thrashed and humiliated them) are favourites for that 4th place.
