For the record, I consider DMD to be a proper sanctimonious contrarian **** who has the audacity to call other people "pompous", but I have no care who moderates this board as I'm squeaky ****ing clean. So crack on everybody and remember, insulting others, no matter how subtly, reveals more about yourself than it does of your quarry.

I don't give a toss if my posts get deleted. Well I do really but once they have gone what's the point?

Let me tell you all, what I truly think and believe... No one is perfect, everyone gets things wrong and instead of ****ing getting angry or upset, just sit down, take a breath and smile. All of this is simply just petulance and in reality it serves no purpose. If you think it does, try this simple exercise, tell someone you love and respect why this thread has got you worked up and watch their face as they look puzzled. Be careful though, they will start asking you questions like "Do you have imaginary friends?"

An adult male's brain isn't fully developed until their late 20's, so it may be no coincidence that by far the most sensible and level-headed moderator on here, is cognitively, still a child (no offence Cortez). Ironically enough, it's the 'adults' on here, (myself included) presenting as 'children', who require the moderation.

I think the moderation on this board is reasonable. Some posters are incredibly sensitive and seem to overreact whenever somebody says something they don't like, both in a footballing context and in some of the off-topic threads, but moderators can't do much to change that. At least, in general, they let the threads flow instead of deleting comments willy-nilly and doling out bans as they do on certain other football forums (or fora perhaps?)

Frisian Fell Fido might be a cock but he's a City-supporting cock, and as he's also not banned me I can't complain.

I don't know if the people criticising DMD will see this comment though, I think most of them filtered me years ago

This thread sums up most of the forum. A genuine thread that gets hijacked for other peoples agendas, ramblings and arguments. There are a lot of people, if not anyone who looks at a thread title and thinks 'this could be a good read', you get a few pages in (having to scan read, due to it going off topic) and have to look at the title of the thread to try and remind yourself what topic you were actually trying to read.

The mods need to start a new thread that is an Off Topic thread, titled Off Topic and move anything that isn't post based into that, apart from the fact it would be really funny to read as loads post random rubbish would be merged, everyone can have their bickering arguments all in one place and let everyone else get on with the original posts.

The thread was created because a mod deleted posts on another thread to hide their ignorance after being abusive & suggesting he had insider knowledge & insight into the workings of the Covid vaccine after the information on a Tweet he posted was questioned. To further stifle debate, & silence somebody who may have had a real insight into the subject being discussed, the mod removed the poster from the thread, sending him inflammatory notifications at the same time.

He then deleted a thread questioning his ability to moderate without bias posting this drivel as an alternative, which he then set about moderating with bias.

The man’s a dick & not fit for purpose.

Quite a while ago, I tried that approach, thinking it was the right thing to do. I got dogs abuse for doing it, so I thought I'd prove my point and stopped doing it for a while, fully expecting things to turn to rat ****.

Instead, it showed I was wrong, and those calling me out for it were right. Okay, perhaps I was clumsy and heavy handed in how I did it, and I have done it since on a couple of occasions with no backlash, but posters did teach me a valuable lesson after my initial attempts.

I guess the main point being, it's important that posters can express their views on moderation, and have them considered and acted on. I certainly don't get everything right.
